Livery Lodges

Postby The Uninitiated » Wed Aug 23, 2023 9:12 pm

As a Freeman of the City of London, I've been looking into the Livery Lodges... ie Lodges that are affiliated with one (or more) of the City of London Livery Companies.

I've identified 22 such Lodges, plus two Livery Installed Master's Lodges, plus the Guild of Freemen Lodge:

  • 2693 Pellipar Lodge
  • 2732 Cutlers' Lodge
  • 3743 St Catherine's Lodge
  • 3752 City Livery Lodge
  • 3839 Feltmakers Lodge
  • 3981 Taurus Lodge
  • 4256 Paynters Stainers Lodge
  • 4343 Needlemakers Lodge
  • 4821 Laus Deo Lodge
  • 5086 Lora et Aries Lodge
  • 5107 Lodge of St Julian
  • 5639 Basketmakers Lodge
  • 5646 Paviors Lodge
  • 6123 Lodge of Love and Friendship
  • 6305 Farriers Lodge
  • 6876 Poulters Lodge
  • 7175 Blacksmiths Lodge
  • 7390 Plaisterers Lodge
  • 8602 Per Caelum Lodge
  • 8731 Paul's Wharf Lodge
  • 9650 Cito Lodge
  • 9890 City Gate Lodge

  • 3525 Guild of Freemen Lodge
  • 6991 Wellington Livery Masters Lodge (Masters and Past Masters of City Livery Companies)
  • 8220 City of London Installed Masters Lodge (Installed Master who is also a member of a City Livery Company)

Plus a couple of Royal Arch Chapters too:
  • 3525 Guild of Freemen Chapter
  • 4256 City Guilds Chapter
  • 5646 Paviors and City Livery Chapter

As a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists, I'm hoping to visit their lodge, Cito Lodge, in September... are any other Forum members a member of any of the other Livery Lodges (or Chapters)?

I am not a member of these but have asked to visit and are awaiting a reply. I think the fees and dining are expensive?

Dining for CITO is £80 - but that's at Bakers' Hall and livery hall dining is something!
